ECPT Our Mission

The East Cambridge Planning Team is an independently incorporated neighborhood association. We work to enhance the quality of life and the environment in East Cambridge. ECPT advocates for the community on issues concerning urban planning, commercial and residential development, preserving and creating green and open space, city policy, community safety, and access to resources and services that benefit residents. We strive to build a strong and lively community by supporting neighbors, local businesses and cultural and social service organizations. We collaborate with local partners to host informational forums and family friendly events. ECPT meetings are open to everyone, although only residents of East Cambridge may vote.

Our Values

ECPT is dedicated to nurturing the human and friendly interactions that make neighborhoods special, and to honoring the cultural and social diversity of East Cambridge. We are committed to maintaining an inclusive, respectful, multicultural organization.  We are always open and welcoming to new members.
